Stephanie Miller: Chris dumps Steph (uncensored) - YouTube
src: i.ytimg.com

Stephanie Miller's Happy Hour is a once a week podcast hosted by American radio host, comedian, and political commentator Stephanie Miller. The podcast consists of approximately 45 minutes to an hour of original uncensored NSFW material, and is available via paid subscription from Miller's website. The Happy Hour features many of the sidekicks ("mooks") and guests who appear on Miller's daily radio show, The Stephanie Miller Show, as well as other comedians, celebrities, and personalities. During the podcast, the hosts and guests often consume alcohol while they chat as one typically does during a happy hour. New episodes of the Happy Hour are usually recorded on Thursdays in Miller's home studio, and released each Friday. Video versions of the Happy Hour are also available by paid subscription. Audio and video versions of previous Happy Hour's are available to subscribers in the archive section of Miller's website. Vanessa Rumbles, Miller's radio Executive Producer appears on each episode. Miller's radio show Associate Producer Sean Comiskey, who handles the Happy Hour video production, also appears on occasion, as does Miller's radio co-host Jim Ward. While there are usually guests on the Happy Hour, periodically the episode is titled Old Home Week or Family Week with just Miller's radio co-hosts and producers.

Happy Hour history and background

The first episode of the podcast was released on SoundCloud on September 12, 2014, at no charge. The theme song on the debut Happy Hour was Party by Dis-n-Dat, but it was changed by October 2014 to Raise Your Glass, by Pink.

The Happy Hour concept was suggested by Travis Bone, one of Miller's former producers, who thought listeners might like to hear and see what it's like to be at a party at Miller's house. Bone made regular appearances on the Happy Hour, before leaving Miller's show in October 2015. Chris Lavoie, the Executive Producer of Miller's radio program, also appeared on each episode of the Happy Hour from its debut in September 2014 until his last regular appearance on November 13, 2015, when he left Miller's radio show. John Melendez while working as a Executive Producer and personality on Miller's radio show, was a regular on the podcast from November 20, 2015 to May 20, 2016. His spot was taken over by Producer Sean Comiskey from May 27, 2016 until November 2017, when Vanessa Rumbles joined the podcast as Executive Producer with on-air contributions, and Comiskey moved to taking care of the video production for the Happy Hour.

Happy Hour Comedy Albums

Two volumes of The Best of Stephanie Miller's Happy Hour have been released. Volume I debuted as the #1 Comedy Album in America on Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play. Volume I also debuted on the Billboard charts on February 18, 2015 at #2, and was dubbed by Billboard as its "Hot Shot Debut". The Best of Stephanie Miller's Happy Hour, Volume 2, released in November 2015, repeated the feat.
